There is not much information about it yet besides the title at the moment, so stay tuned for more information. Today is the last day of the year 2008. Now it's time for us to take a look back on what happened at KOEI Warriors - Top 10 Memorable Moments in 2008. Of course, we'd like to say thanks for the support from our community. Even though we're not the best yet, we'll still keep trying to maintain this site and community to the highest level as we can. Now let's see the Top 10 Memorable Moments on KOEI Warriors in 2008. #1 - Dynasty Warriors 6: Xtreme Legends - April Fool's Joke (April 2008) The joke set by Jsun on April Fool's Day. The first April Fool's joke in 3 years at KOEI Warriors. It was not just the Dynasty Warriors 6: Xtreme Legends fake news of Jiang Wei, but also the hoax of the site closing down that made the fans worried and angry for a week. Apologies! #2 - KW Founder Resigned / All Positions Re-assigned (July 2008) The founder of KOEI Warriors resigned for good. With his hard work for 3 years, he passed both the site and forums to his trustworthy friends. Special thanks to all the site and forum staff team for keeping KOEI Warriors active from after his departure. #3 - KOEI Warriors Forum Gone Zeta (November 2008) Special thanks to Fayt for working very hard to make this happen. KOEI Warriors Forum has finally converted to Zetaboards from the InvisionFree boards. With all the staff team working diligently to re-adjust the board and making different background themes, the forum has also been fixed and improved to be quicker than expected. #4 - KOEI Warriors Gatherings in London, Paris & Singapore (May - October 2008) KOEI Warriors isn't just an online community, we have set up the gatherings / events for members / fans / cosplayers to meet each other in real life. The KOEI Warriors Gathering events were a really big hit this year as we had many updates about it and they even appeared in magazines and on other sites as well. Congrats! #5 - Newly Launched koeiwarriors.co.uk (January 2008) KOEI Warriors has its own domain after 2 years of work. SimGames has sponsored KOEI Warriors with its best hosting service and bought us a .co.uk domain. So we moved from koeiwarriors.simgames.net to koeiwarriors.co.uk in January 2008. #6 - Samurai Warriors 3 Announced for the Wii (October 2008) Huge explosion indeed. KOEI has announced the release of Samurai Warriors 3 for the Wii during the Wii conference in October. This has caused loads of complaints from the fans with around 60 thousand views on our Samurai Warriors 3 discussion board. #7 - KOEI-TECMO HOLDINGS (September 2008) Tecmo said no to Square-Enix's offer, but yes to KOEI's. KOEI-TECMO HOLDINGS announced that they will start officially working together in the beginning of April, 2009. #8 - KOEI Warriors YouTube Re-launched (August 2008) YouTube deleted our original KW YouTube account from the request of X-Play complaining that the account had 2 of their review videos. It's a great loss for us because we don't have backups for all those valuable videos. KOEIWarriorsMedia was launched in September and we now continue to upload our KOEI related videos to the new channel. #9 - Fan Music Video Awards 2007/2008 (February 2008) The biggest contest on KOEI Warriors ever in 2008. The music video contest encouraged so many people to learn how to make videos using video editing software. The voice acting and narration to announce the contest winners is still very amazing, looking back on it. #10 - A Member Begging Kotaku To Delete Their KW Account (FUNNY!) (March 2008) An anonymous e-mail was sent to the Kotaku staff about a person being blackmailed, so they requested for their comments to be deleted. The content has been revealed by Kotaku staff itself and we found out he/she is one of the KOEI Warriors forum members (from the content the author pasted to public.) Click here to view the content. That's all for the major moments on KOEI Warriors in the year 2008. We hope to have your support in 2009 as usual and we'll work on this site and take the community to the next level. At last, Happy New Year 2009! Discuss "Top 10 Memorable Moments on KW in 2008" on KW Forum now... |

If you haven't yet made your mind up about getting either Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 when released, or Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, then let's convince you and highlight what needs to be said about the two games. Also note that the Japanese release of Gundam Musou 2 (DWG2) has already been released, so if you haven't yet got the chance to see the game, try checking YouTube and the forums here. So without further hesitation let's start with Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 with bullet points. - Available on the PS2 (JP & US only), PS3 (JP, US, & EU) and Xbox 360 (JP, US & EU). - A range of new characters and suits covering over Gundam, Zeta Gundam, Gundam ZZ, Char's Counterattack, Gundam F91, Victory Gundam, Turn A and SEED Destiny. - Over 20 new suits and pilots. - For the first time you are able to gather parts by defeating certain suits and essemble these parts into Grunts. - New exclusive modes to GM2, such as License Missions and Free Missions. - Improvements to gameplay mechanics like being able to use 6 charge attacks instead of 4. This varies from suit-to-suit though. And now there being such attacks like air SP (musou) moves. - Movie Gallery to view those movies found within the game. This was missing from DWG1, so its a welcomed arrival. - At least 3 times as much stuff to do compared to the original. - Exclusive to the PSP console. - Using the DW6 characters models, this freshly exciting new way of mixing ground combat with air combat moves the series into a positive direction. Similar to Final Fantasy: Dissidia for the PSP. - New awakened forms for what seems every character. These are no ordinary forms, but fantasy-like. These forms possess incredible fighting abilities. - For the first time any given character is able to switch weapons with an entirely different character that you wouldn't normally expect to. You can use this function for funny or serious outcomes. - Enemies are fewer, but tougher to take on. Also there are traps and obstacles to overcome. *Please check at the bottom of the site for release dates information. Discuss Gundam Musou 2 (DW: Gundam 2) on KW Forum now... There's something interesting in the Famitsu scan today. In their top 40 chart for the wishlist, there's a game titled "Ni-OH" (37) from KOEI for PlayStation 3.
Could this be the sign telling us that this game is still in development? So we'll have to wait and see what will be happening next... Discuss Ni-OH on KOEI Warriors Forum now... |

Besides walking around in the different towns of Strikeforce (Shin Sangokumusou Multi Raid), you can now talk to Panda (look at the lonely Zhao Yun, he has no friends at all... but Panda!) Panda, are gentle friend, can be found in the town. So give it certain items and you may get something good in return!
Besides that, there are loads of cards you will collect, as as you can see, there are 5 spaces for you to place in the slots. By placing them in you can upgrade the particular shops in your town. For example: If you have a higher leveled weapon store, you're able to get a stronger weapon located in the town. There's also a message board (the wall), which you can see the information and join the sub-missions available at that time. And also there's a small temple-like building where you can go to change your character as you like (36 characters to begin with; others are unlockables.) This game will be released February 26, 2009 in Japan (Japanese version); March 24, 2009 in North America (English version) and finally April 3, 2009 in Europe (English version). A new scan from Jump Magazine on Shin Sangokumusou MULTI RAID (Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce) is up, featuring Awakening forms of Ma Chao, Guan Ping, Gan Ning, Huang Gai, Cao Pi and Zhen Ji. Too bad the scan has been watermarked by A9VG so we can't upload them, but nevertheless we would like to thank Sera for this great find!
