There are 6 new characters in Dynasty Warriors 5 and it made Dynasty Warriors 5 total of 48 playable characters to be selected. For me, Dynasty Warriors 5 is better than a past few series, as we can see there is no more lagging on the game like the previous one, and that is more soldiers in the field, so it made the 1,000+ KOs in each stage will no more difficult like the previous. What I like is the Musou Kakusei (new add-on feature) which turns your character into "ultimate" mode by pressing R3 button and that was totally fun. Those new 6 characters were Guan Ping (Guan Yu's son), Ling Tong (Ling Cao's son), Pang De, Xing Cai (Zhang Fei's daughter), Cao Pi (Cao Cao's son, also Zhen Ji's husband) and Zuo Ci. What dissapointing me is just Yan Liang and Wen Chou still are not playable characters but for me, with new character such as Zuo Ci has added was totally shocked me once I saw him. And in Dynasty Warriors 5, most of bugs have been debugged, still remember Ma Chao's horse attack? You will never ever being so cool when Ma Chao's attack during horse-riding. The musics were totally awesome, graphics improved so as the action become more realistic, but in the Dynasty Warriors 5, KOEI was more into the Wu's force, they made everything just looked like perfect in Wu force, you can just see those playable chracters in Wu compared with Wei and you can clearly see the difference. You can carry a bodyguard with you in the battle somehow you guys can combined with the Musou attack and that was totally rock! There were some new items added with some events, the highest level of the weapon is Level 4 weapon which still is not quite perfect for me because of some characters' Level 4 weapons were heavy and slow in attacking. But overall, it is still nice to play and just think about Zuo Ci's 1,000 KOs with his crazy musou. For me, Dynasty Warriors 5 was totally rock! I've obtained all the items and most of the Level 4 weapons I've collected. Here are the musics I mostly love in the Dynasty Warriors 5 soundtrack: Swordsmen In The Plain, Breakthrough, Excalibur and lots more... (If you really want a soundtrack so much, you may make a request HERE.) |
