Dynasty Warriors 6 // Other Information
Known Information
Starting Characters
Shu: Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei
Wei: Xiahou Dun, Dian Wei, Sima Yi
Wu: Zhou Yu, Sun Shang Xiang, Lu Xun
Renbu System
This is the new gameplay system that allows unending attack. It is displayed from the Renbu gauge next to the character portrait, and the Renbu rank. As you rack up chains, the gauge will continue to increase, and after maxed out, the Renbu rank will go up. However, if you are hit by the enemy, the gauge will go down.
The normal moveset resembles Gundam Musou's system but in an infinite loop style (aka. never ending). As the Renbu rank goes up, new moves will be added to the moveset.
The starting max rank for Renbu is 2, but can go up as you level up. Also, by equipping a special item, the rank can go up to infinite for a while.

Bases and Gates
At the first glance, the base system looks like Gundam Musou's system. But the difference is, the base guard will already appear even if you haven't drained the morale/durability gauge. By defeating the guard, the gauge will decrease greatly.
Door of bases can be destroyed by your weapon, and once there are no enemies around, it will be repaired by engineering troops.
Other than the normal base, there is also a 'shooting' base where arrow volleys are shot within 100m of radius.
Castle gates have a door durability gauge, and cannot be destroyed by your weapon, so a siege engine like ram will be needed.
Once you have cleared the surroundings of the castle gate, your troops will begin constructing the siege engines.
To aid the siege engines, you may need to disable the castle defense by climbing the ladder which is set by your troops.
Attacks & Movesets
Pressing attack or charge button while blocking will execute a grapple attack.
Pressing down in D-pad will summon your horse. Seems like movement will be done with analog stick only.
It looks like most of the character mounted attacks will be one-sided just like in SW.
Combo number is renamed to Chain, and the counting method is similar to Sengoku Basara, Devil Kings and Samurai Warriors 2. It is importantly related to Renbu system.
Special moves from SW2 are added.
Stats
This game will be using the now commonly used level system instead of stat-up drops.
Weapon equipping is still here.
There will be a new skill tree with multiple branches. To unlock the skills, you will need skill points.
There will be sub-missions that will give you EXP if you succeed in it.
Environment
You can execute some surprise attacks and confuse enemy troops, such as jumping from a cliff.
You can now climb ladders, swim and ride boats.
Dead bodies will not disappear ASAP, they will stay for a while.
Wild animals are back. Other than tigers, wolves will also appear. With a certain skill, you can tame them.
