Fifteen years after the annihilation of the infamous warlord Oda Nobunaga, another dark shadow looms over Japan as the ruler's successor, Hideyoshi Toyotomi has aligned himself with the evil Genma forces. Thus begins Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams -- where players assume the role Soki, a powerful young warrior also known as "The Blue Demon" and "Oni of the Ash," as he sets out to destroy the Genma and set fire to a mysterious crop of demonic cherry trees. Throughout his journey, Soki can take advantage of a brand new "Allies" gameplay system that enables users to swap between multiple playable characters on the fly. Player-issued teammate commands, highly-customizable weapons and fighting abilities, and an assortment of unlockable bonuses are also included.

Onimusha: Dawn Of Dreams is the best Onimusha game that was made so far. Onimusha games are a great, at 1st playing the game I was a lilttle disappointed because “Hey, Its all the same” but then after a few hours of playing it I realize that it isn’t the same as the Onimusha Games this game is different it is much better then the other Onimusha games.

Onimusha: DoD has a number of playable characters Soki(Hideyasu Yuki), Jubei (Akane), Ohatsu, Roberto, and Tenkai and each character has his/her own story. You will get to play as each of them in the game. The main character is Soki also known as The Black Oni, The Blue Demon or Oni Of The Ash, along the way you will find some allies, Jubei (Akane) is the 1st ally that you will meet.

In Onimusha: DoD you will find yourself fighting the Genma which evil undead soldiers over and over, but the neat thing about the game is that the greater demons, sub-bosses, and main bosses are all incredible fun to fight and most of them bring a pretty decent challenge to the table.

Onimusha: DoD also has alot of weapons to select from. Each character also has his/her unique weapon to get this unique weapon you will have to go thru the Dark Realm which is quite hard.

Onimusha: DoD has a very beautiful stages made, it is much more realistic then the other Onimusha games the stages were beautiful the graphics is excellent.

In Onimusha Dawn Of Dreams you will fighting against Claudius a person who has taken over Mitsunari’s body and is Tenkai’s Enemy, Ophelia a person who has taken over Yodo’s body who is Ohatsu’s sister, Luis Frois has been taken over by someone and is Roberto’s father, Mununori Jubei Yagyu(Akane) Uncle, Hideyoshi father to Soki and is meant to be a God, Last Fratinbras also known as The God Of Light he is the number one Enemy of this game.

Best part yet Onimusah: DoD has nothing to do with the past games, so you don’t need knowledge of the other Onimusha games to understand this story, this story is a different Onimusha Story…..A New Story

So Onimusah: DoD is an excellent game it is ‘unique’. There is still a few disspointment for me about the Onimusha games, The levels for me is abit short, Capcom should add a jump button to the game.
