Items

You can find various items during your game. Many of these are well hidden in cities though. You will have to find them, they are in places such as Pu Yang, Chang An, Cheng Du, etc. As long as they have the 'Exchange' command in the city's ''Civilian'' area. Once inside the Exchange you will exchange gold for higher chances of raising your own gold. If lucky you can get a unique item. You will have to try a few times before actually getting anything good. Chances are thin about getting an item. Example ''Serpent Slayer'' can be found in Pu Yang as you exchange. Other ways are doing quests in taverns by accepting missions, you can get items this way as well.
Event Stills

Getting Event Stills is rather easy, you can find these through your story as you progress further. Many can be viewed during certain scenes in the game. Some are quite unique, so finding will depend how you play your story. Many of these are very common on appearances; such as ''Plaque'' usually when a city has invested a plaque you will see the Still during this. More are quite common to this, when a sovereign is dead, or an officer dies. Starting a scenario in any year may give you more. Recommended officers.
--->Animated Events - Ok now, Animated Events are quite tricky to find throughout story mode. So I'll guide you telling you how to unlock all 22/22 of them. As detailed I can be from the first to last one. Of course there might be many different ways how they have been unlocked. But I'll tell you through my way, how I got them.
-----The Peach Garden Oath
Start in the scenario Revolt Awakens Heroic Ambitions 1. 2nd Mo. of 184. - Play as either Liu Bei, Guan Yu, or Zhang Fei. You'll start in peaceful story unfolding, and the three eventually meet, and discuss their fates. Soon after this Event should follow. By far the easiest event.
----- The Seven Star Sword
Start in the scenario Dark Clouds over the Capital 2. 9th Mo. of 189 - How I got this was quite easy. Play as Cao Cao and you'll be in Dong Zhuo's service, stay in his service until Wang Yun invites you to his home. After this the event should follow, if you follow the instructions. At this gathering Wang Yun let's you borrow a prized sword to assassinate Dong Zhuo. You accept and visit Dong Zhuo in his estate. (His city council.) After the event, this is all yours. You might get this if you play with Dong Zhuo too.
----- Mightier than the Sword
Start in the scenario Dark Clouds over the Capital 2. 9th. Mo. of 189 - Ok this Event takes a while to get. But follow through the story and it will be no problem. First off, play as Lu Bu and you start off in Ding Yuan's service. You go to a banquet meeting in Luo Yang with Ding Yuan. Seeing as how Dong Zhuo invited you there. After that short event, you'll need to defect to Dong Zhuo's side, and leave Ding Yuan. Now, you just don't resign and join him. You'll have to wait until Li Su invites you to Dong Zhuos favor. In order to trigger this, as soon as you return home from the banquet go to Luo Yang. And Li Su should be there to greet you. Now you find yourself in Dong Zhuo's service, what you do now is for a long while just work as in officer for him. Don't rush into battles that the story doesn't follow. Just stay with him. In time Wang Yun introduces you to his daughter Diao Chan. After that quick meeting head to your home and Lu Bu thinks more about Diao Chan. And just stay with Dong Zhuo, and the assassination event that you have been waiting for should unfold in due time.
----- A Feat of Archery
Start in the scenario 3. 3rd Mo. of 194 Thunder Roars from the Central Plains - Depending on what you do will determine if you'll get this animated event or not. Play as Liu Bei and you should start in the city Xiao Pei. Governing the city until a message says that Tao Qian of Xia Pi has fallen ill. And the messenger asks (Mi Zhu) his lords wish was for you to look over Xu. (Both cities.) This will give you an option. Respond with the positive response, and say you will look over both lands. Saying no, well you don't get the event. After Lu Bu from Pu Yang gets himself defeated by Cao Cao of Chen Liu. And seeks your aid, and if you will allow them to stay with you. Another option arises, you respond positive once again, and let him stay with you. He will watch over Xiao Pei. Follow through to the story and you should get an event. Later you go out to attack Yuan Shu, by imperial edict. Yet, another option. Asking you to attack Yuan Shu, in the name of the emperor. You agree and head out. When you arrive you should have lost Xia Pi to Lu Bu, and you look over Xiao Pei again. Just stay there and govern the city, and keep Lu Bu your ally. Shortly after the event should show.
----- A Warrior Falls
Start in scenario 3. 3rd Mo. of 194 Thunder Roars from the Central Plains - I got this event by playing as Cao Cao, or any of his officers. As long as they're not Dian Wei or Cao Ang. First off, there's not much hard effort into this. Make sure you follow the events, stay in good terms with Cao Cao, as in friendship. So he'll invite you to the banquet. (It will be a banquet, make sure your in good terms before the event should unfold.) Just follow the story through, and you should get it. After Zhang Xiu of Wan, ''Supposedly'' surrenders.
----- In the Face of Death
Start in scenario 3. 3rd Mo. of 194 Thunder Roars from the Central Plains - I played as Cao Ang here and let the events show while progressing the story. Soon after Lu Bu's many defeats in the story Cao Cao and Liu Bei decide to attack him together. You'll play the battle of Xia Pi. First you must win this battle in order for you to get the event. Quickly after the battle you should see it. Remember to stay in Cao Cao's force, stay in the same land as he and follow through.
----- A Dual Proposal
Start in scenario 3. 3rd Mo. of 194 Thunder Roars from the Central Plains - Not much hard work into this one either. Rather easy. Play as Sun Ce and you'll start in Shou Chun. Move to Lu Jiang at the start of the game. After you'll speak to Yuan Shu very soon about an exchange. After negotiations are done, go to Jian Ye, and attack it. Occupy it, then take the cites Wu, Hui Ji, and after go for Chai Sang, and transfer government there. Attack all cities in order when you feel ready. Soon after going into Chai Sang, Zhou Yu speaks to you about marrying the Qiao sisters. The event follows itself from there.
----- Guan Yu's Journey
Start in scenario 4. 1st Mo. of 200 Two Powers Collide at Guan Du - Play as Guan Yu this time. You will be prefect of the city Xia Pi. Xiao Pei will be in confusion soon. After Liu Bei and Zhang Fei as well as the officers in that city should have scattered. You will surrender to Cao Cao. And work for him, go to Guan Du, and slay Yuan Shao's two best generals. After you will take your leave on Cao Cao. Soon he will catch up and you will see the event.
----- Appeal to a Dragon
Start in scenario 5. 5th Mo. of 207 A Dragon Rises as Chi Bi Burns - Play as either of Liu Bei, Guan Yu, or Zhang Fei for this event. Proceed as the story goes. And Liu Bei mentions about ''The Sleeping Dragon.'' You'll visit a few times but at first no luck. The third time you should get this event.
----- Tragedy at Chang Ban
Start in scenario 5. 5th Mo. of 207 A Dragon Rises as Chi Bi Burns - Play as Zhao Yun. After the three visits and you get Zhuge Liang to join Liu Bei. Wait until Cao Cao makes his move to attack you. Then your force should flee. After so, you should get the event where as Cao Cao attacks you, by catching up and you stay behind to save lady Mi, and the lords child.
----- Sun Quan's Decision
Start in the scenario 5. 5th Mo. of 207. A Dragon Rises as Chi Bi Burns - Ok here you play as Zhou Yu. You'll be getting daily reports about how other armies are doing, Liu Bei included. You won't be able to get this event until the year 208. In the mean time get ready for war, recruit your troops until Sun Quan summons you to Wu. After that you'll see quick events about surrendering. You should get the event right after words. Sun Quan breaks his table.
-----The ultimate loyalty
Start in the scenario 5. 5th Mo. of 207. A Dragon Rises as Chi Bi Burns - Play as Zhou Yu, as continuing the story. The start of Chi Bi. Several discussions with Pang Tong will arise, then as well with Huang Gai. Automatically giving you this event shortly afterwords.
----- A Prayer in the Wind
Start in the scenario 5. 5th Mo. of 207. A Dragon Rises as Chi Bi Burns- Playing as Zhou Yu, continuation. After Huang Gai's punishment and beating, Lu Su will come in, and brings Zhuge Liang. After the conversation is over, another animated event should occur.
----- Five Tiger Generals
Start in the scenario 6. 7th Mo. of 217 Tremors of War Shake Han Zhong- Play as Either Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, or Huang Zhong to unlock this. Though I played as Zhang Fei and I got the event. I take it any other Shu officer is a fine choice. Just stay in serve with you Shu, and in time you should receive the rank.
----- Victory or Death
Start in the scenario 6. 7th Mo. of 217 Tremors of War Shake Han Zhong- Pang De's death scene. Where he pledged to kill Guan Yu, and bring his head in a coffin. Easy way to unlock, you must work for Cao Cao's force you can be any officer for this. Make sure you accompany Cao Cao to Han Zhong. After the battle the scene should appear. But you must be in Xu Chang for this. I suggest you play as in officer already in the particular city.
----- Amidst the Autumn Rain
Start in the scenario 6. 7th Mo. of 217 Tremors of War Shake Han Zhong- I played as Lu Xun for this. Follow the story, soon you will go with Lu Meng to capture jing, pretty shortly after Han Zhong. Make sure you go to Jian Ye. Guan Yu's precious death scene should come out shortly.
----- Forced Ascension
Start in the scenario 6. 7th Mo. of 217 Tremors of War Shake Han Zhong- After the death of Cao Cao, Cao Pi decides to become Emperor. You can get this with any Wei officer.
----- Stone Sentinel Maze
Start in the scenario 6.7th Mo. of 217 Tremors of War Shake Han Zhong. How I started was I played with a created officer. I started free in Jian An. I stayed there letting time pass quick enough, for me to aim for this event. I stayed there until the daily messenger was done with most of his reports. After the one where Cao Cao dies is reported in, I went to go serve under Sun Quan. I joined on his capital, (Jian Ye) after a short bit for working for them, your messenger should arrive telling you about Liu Bei's army to attack in Yi Ling. Lu Xun will be appointed in Jiang Ling. After he is, ask Sun Quan to relocate in the same city as Lu Xun. Fair enough the event to Yi Ling shall occur. Win the battle and the event is yours! It should be in easy fight. Seeing as Liu Bei's army has their morale almost drained out. In easier way is to destroy Liu Bei's unit and along with his subs.
----- A Patriot's Desire
Start in the scenario 7.4th Mo. of 227 A Struggle Between old Enemies.I played as Zhang Yi for this one. (The one above the other when selecting characters.) What I did was a months worth of work. And after I went down to Cheng Du where Zhuge Liang calls a council. And the event shows from there.
----- A Regrettable Obligation
Start in the scenario 7.4th Mo. of 227 A Struggle Between old Enemies. Ok, this should continue where you left off in the previous event. I was still playing as Zhang Yi at this time, next what comes is a point where Shu, and Zhuge Liang prepare to fight Wei in the north. Zhuge Liang comes up with an idea, but so does Wei Yan, to get the next event join with Zhuge Liang's idea to attack the north. (Support Zhuge Liang) Tip - Make sure to visit Cheng Du daily, at least every two months. After sometime working on Han Zhong, Zhuge Liang will be giving you jobs. Eventually one of them will be to attack Tian Shui, when your feel as your ready attack it. (Make sure to win this, you'll have Jiang Wei on your side after.) If there is any other attacks in the north ignore them. And just follow this up until you get this event. (This will make it easier for you to get this event.) After the battle of Tian Shui I ended up in a council. We were about to defend Jie Ting, Zhuge Liang sends Ma Su and Wang Ping. I went along with both of them. After Ma Su should get in an argument with Wang Ping. You'll have to make a choice which to follow, I went with Ma Su's idea. After you return to Han Zhong the event should show there.
----- One Less Star in the Sky
Start in the scenario 7.4th Mo. of 227 A Struggle Between old Enemies. This was the continuation of my story as Zhang Yi. You continue where you left off in the last scenario. After the last event Zhuge Liang tells us to get prepared for a showdown with Wei in the Wu Zhang Plains. Here is the last one for the Zhang Yi story. As you progress to this battle, you will notice that the enemy has much higher morale. What you need to do here is loss the battle in order to trigger it. After you have lost, Zhuge Liang will pull out all his strings, and tell Jiang Wei to keep his death a secret. After you should get this event as you go by. - If you did not get this as I wrote, it must mean you didn't visit Cheng Du for the meetings. Try going there or Han Zhong. (Where Zhuge Liang is located.)
----- The Fall of Shu
Start in the scenario 8.2nd Mo. of 253 The Lonely Legacy of the Dead. I played this as Guo Huai. Just to make sure I wouldn't fail I made about 25 Created officers with balanced stats, and I put them all in Chang An. But you don't necessarily have to do that. As soon as you start have all the troops from Tian Shui and An Ding transported to Chang An, and attack Han Zhong and Wu Du. (You do not have to participate into the battles agains't Shu.)Send Most units to attack Han Zhong, where lesser ones to attack Wu Du. (About three units to Wu Du should do it.) You might wanna request reinforcements for both if you wanna make certain you win this. Try from Luo Yang and Xu Chang. If you lose just try again. Sometimes that might happen. What I did after I send the attacks, was resign from Wei and go to Zi Tong and join Shu. After that, a little later when they lose their lands (Han Zhong and Wu Du.) Jiang Wei should be prefect of Zi Tong. Stay there as long as needed. Visit the council frequently. Shortly after, this last event should appear.
