Samurai Warriors, is a little bit different from previous games, however. Not only does it trade out its usual setting of ancient China for feudal Japan, but it also adds some role-playing elements not found before in the series, as well as a much deeper scope of features, collectible items, and moves. Although the upgrades are certainly a nice change of pace for what has been a fairly uncompromising series of games, the core game is still much the same as it has always been, and as such, Samurai Warriors remains a game primarily for those already enamored with the Warriors franchise.
When I played Samurai Warriors, I've found that it's similar as Dynasty Warriors series, but this time, it was about the Japanese history, it's cool by the way cause I can use gun attack by Saiga Magoichi. You will obtain an extra costume for that character after you finished any character's story mode, it's cool but Oichi's second custome was a bit weird. This game is good, and it took me around one and a half month to complete all the story but I didn't get all the final weapons, what the difference between Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors is that Samurai Warriors will have its mission (sometimes it's missions) on every stage, and that made me have no much freedom the kill whom I want to kill in the battlefield, it's cool by the way for rushing the mission and gained the extra experience points for that. But one thing I didn't really like in Samurai Warriors is the castle mission, it's because the time-limit and I didn't like much of the traps. Let's talk about the soundtrack, the musics are totally cool, as rock as the Dynasty Warriors, and the track I love the most in the game, always the Ending Theme titled "Be The One" by BoA. And my favorite characters are Mori Ranmaru, Maeda Keiji, and Okuni. Samurai Warriors has added one character that was not related in the Japanese history, means that she's not in the Japanese history, that's Kunoichi, I love her speed, so as the voice, she's cute! The sound actors were awesome in Japanese version of Samurai Warriors, but I didn't like much when it turns to English version. Think about 1,000 KOs in Samurai Warriors will be totally a tough job, in some stage does, but mostly when you're in the stage, all you gotta do is to achieve most of the missions, else it might affect your next stage for the story mode. Overall, I still prefer on the Dynasty Warriors gameplay, but Samurai Warriors is not bad too.
